STP offers a choice of three nationwide medical benefit plans to meet the needs of our employees and their families. One of our medical plan options is HSA compatible. All regular full-time employees are eligible to join a medical plan. All three plans include a prescription drug plan. These plans are offered through United Healthcare. The company pays a portion of the premium.
All regular, full-time employees have the option to enroll in voluntary PPO dental coverage, offered through United Healthcare.
All regular, full-time employees have the option to enroll in voluntary vision coverage, offered through United Healthcare.
All regular, full-time employees are eligible for company paid short-term and long-term disability benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offered through Mutual of Omaha. Disability benefits allow eligible employees to maintain a portion of their income if they become disabled and helps them return to work while providing financial security..
All regular, full-time employees are eligible for company paid group term life insurance upon hire, offered through Principal.
Retirement Savings Plan
STP offers a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan of 37 low-cost, no-load Vanguard Funds. STP will match the first 3 percent of employees' deferred contributions, plus 50 percent of the next 2 percent of the employee’s contributions. The employee’s contribution and the company’s match are immediately vested. 401(k) plans are regulated by pension fund rules and may have penalties for early withdrawal.

Paid Time Off
In addition to offering competitive compensation and benefits, STP also offers paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays to eligible employees. Eligible employees are able to accrue PTO to be used at their discretion. Where applicable, PTO is accrued each pay period at a rate that is determined by the length of time an employee has been working at STP.
STP offers our eligible employees 8 days of paid holiday leave a year.
